「Mental & Environmental Music」を掲げ、宇宙の神秘や宗教/哲学をモチーフに、時空を超えた永久音楽を探求するギリシャ・ピレエフス出身のマルチ・インストゥルメンタリストDimitris Petsetakis（ディミトリス・ペトセタキス）。91年のソロ初作「Missing Links」は、アフリカ/アジア/汎地中海の民族性や独創的なコスモロジーを背景に、ギター、シンセサイザー、民族楽器とカスタマイズしたオリジナル楽器を駆使した秘境的アンビエント作品。太古と未来の間を飛び交う交信電波、気候/気象を演出するサウンド・エフェクトに包まれた仮想/反地球のバイオスフィア、その中で執り行なわれる静粛な儀式、岩陰で人知れず交わされる草霊や木魅のひそひそとした気配に満ちたサウンドスケープは、Brian Enoによる自律音響風土の起点「On Land」や、Steve Roachが探索する音世界「myriad soundworlds」の志向に通じます。ギリシャのオブスキュアなエレクトロニック作を集めた、Into The Light Records（Ilias Pitsios aka Dynamons & Tako Reyenga）によるコンピレーション「A Journey Into Greek Electronic Music, Classics & Rarities (1978-1991)」に選出された"Clearance Part I + II (Unreleased Version)"は、本作を再編した「Missing Links II」収録のトラック。同コンピにも収録されたVangelis Katsoulisをはじめ、コンテンポラリー・ジャズ/ニューエイジの良質な作品をリリースしたレーベルUtopiaの一枚。

Born in Piraeus Greece on the 10th of August 1956. He graduated from Ionidios School of Piraeus, where he took his first music lessons next to the professor Apostolos Zygouris. He studied at the Law School of the Aristoteleion University of Thessaloniki and at the same time he took lessons on music theory and synthesis next to professor Aineian. He has been member of the ” Society of Greek composers of Electronic music”, founded by Janis Xenakis since its foundation.
His music consists of elements of minimalism , musique concrete, ethnic forms from all over the world as well as personal techniques on quitars (electrics , acoustics , fretless , treated , reverse ), on synthesizers and on any kind of acoustic instruments (stringed , percussive, wind and custom made).
