The music-archaeologist, Cajsa S. Lund, takes us on an historic tour through exotic sound-scapes that titillate the imagination. Here we can listen to magic bone-scrapers, evocative dance-step rhythms, tones on a reed flute and bronze lurs which resound with clay drums and gong! For the first time we can now hear a recording of how "music" may have sounded during Scandinavian prehistory - Stone Age, Bronze Age and Iron Age. This unique record - based on preserved instruments - is a result of extensive research. The sounds of prehistory emanate on solid ground. -NaxosDirect
