自らのサウンドを即興と反復の間に振動する「テンション・サウンド」と表す、スイス・チューリッヒのダブテクノ／トリップホップ・デュオETHIMM＝Elisabeth Thimm（エリザベス・ティム）＋Brian Gimmel（ブライアン・ジンメル）による2つのミックス。1つ目は、9月にセカンドEP「When in dark」のリリースを控えるレーベルLight of Other Daysのポッドキャスト・シリーズより#11。2つ目は、地元のDJやレーベルを発信するラジオ局GDS.FMのプログラム「STUDIO GDS IN DER BURG」のアーカイヴより、7月13日放送のミックス＋Thimmのトーク。Necks、Daniel Lanois、Portisheadなど、仄暗く美しいジャズ／アンビエント／トリップホップのセレクション。

ETHIMM is the project of Elisabeth Thimm and Brian Gimmel. The sound that they call «tension music» oscillates between repetition and improvisation, merging Thimm's dance floor rooted synth and sampler patterns with Gimmel’s piano improv. Be prepared to be confronted with blissed out memories of Berlin’s Dub of the 1990s, ECM style Jazz excursions and the remains of the abyss that is Trip Hop.
