独ビザール音響の極北H.N.A.S.（Hirsche Nicht Aufs Sofa）やMimirのメンバーとして知られる、アーヘン出身の異能音楽家アンドレアス・マルティン。Mimirでの活動期にあたる90年代初頭に録音され、1994年に米レーベルから10インチ盤で発表されたキャリア初のソロ作品。実弟クリストフ・ヒーマンとともに地下実験音響/ポスト・インダストリアルの深淵に身を置きながら、一方ではマイケル・ヘッジズに代表されるアメリカン・ニューエイジやプリミティブ・ギターにも共鳴する叙情を併せ持つマルティン。本作では、その両極的なバックグラウンドを内なる風景を旅するような深遠なミニマリズムへと投影しています。清冽なアルペジオの反復、オルガンやアコーディオンの持続音、テープ変調などの実験的手法を交錯させたマージナルな音像。焚き火の煙、枯草、あるいは古い農作業小屋の匂い。サイケデリックでありながら過剰な逸脱はなく、地に足のついた没入感と乾いたトランス感覚が醸し出されるフォーク・サイケデリアの秀作。タイトルは「現場からのコロン（：）」の意。「熊のふしだら女」「ソーセージの指」「鹿の人参」といった謎掛けのような曲名も、H.N.A.S.（ソファに鹿を上げるな）から連なる彼ら特有のシュールな美意識を映し出しています。
Andreas Martin, a singular musician from Aachen, is renowned for his work with Mimir and H.N.A.S. (Hirsche Nicht Aufs Sofa), a project that represents the outermost reaches of bizarre experimental sound. Recorded in the early ’90s during his time with Mimir, this 10-inch record was released in 1994 on a U.S. label as his debut solo work. While deeply immersed in the depths of German underground experimental music alongside his brother Christoph Heemann, Martin also harbors an affinity with American New Age and primitive guitar traditions, as exemplified by Michael Hedges. In this work, he projects that background into a profound minimalism that unfolds like a journey through an inner landscape. A liminal soundscape emerges, interweaving pristine, repetitive arpeggios with sustained tones from organ and accordion, alongside experimental techniques such as tape modulation. It conjures the smells of campfire smoke, dried grass, and old farm sheds. Psychedelic yet never tipping into excess, the album fosters a grounded and gently immersive atmosphere, imbued with a dry, understated trance-like quality—making it a standout work of folk psychedelia.
