スペイン・マヨルカ島出身のギタリスト/作曲家ジョアン・ビビローニが近年精力的に公開しているデジタル・アーカイブより、未発表音源や別テイクを自ら編纂したコラージュ・シリーズの4作目。カタルーニャ語で「夢のような」を意味する本作は、1986年から87年にかけてスペイン国営放送TVEで放送された自然ドキュメンタリー「シレンシオ・ロト（破られた沈黙）」のサウンドトラック素材をベースに、ハビエル・モラ（キーボード）とリョレンス・バルセロ（オルガン）を迎えた新規セッションを織り交ぜ、長い時間をかけて解体再構築したコラージュ/リワーク作品。原曲の澄んだエッセンスのみを抽出して放散させるような編集手法により、彼の長いキャリアの中でも際立ってアンビエント色の濃い、幻想的な仕上がりとなっています。コロナ禍という閉塞した時期に、ビビローニが心の中に描いた楽園世界。他界した親しい友人たちに捧げた「Espasiado Fuera - Loving Obituary」をはじめ、全編通して海や風の気配と一体化した慈愛に満ちた空気が広がっています。
This is the fourth installment of the collage series by Mallorcan guitarist and composer Joan Bibiloni. The project features unreleased recordings and alternate takes handpicked from his recently active digital archive.
The album title, meaning “dreamlike” in Catalan, is a collage/rework project meticulously deconstructed and reconstructed over time. It blends soundtrack material from the 1986–87 Spanish national TV (TVE) nature documentary Silencio Roto with new sessions featuring Javier Mora (keyboards) and Llorenç Barceló (organ). By extracting and diffusing only the purest essence of the original tracks, Bibiloni has created a fantastical work with an ambient depth that stands out in his long career.
This music represents the inner paradise Bibiloni envisioned during the isolation of the COVID-19 pandemic. From “Espasiado Fuera - Loving Obituary,” dedicated to late dear friends, the entire album is imbued with a compassionate atmosphere that breathes in harmony with the sea and the wind.
