ブラジル出身の鬼才ギタリストFabiano do Nascimento（ファビアーノ・ド・ナシメント）と、LAを拠点に活動するベテラン作家E Ruscha V（エディ・ルシェ）による共作「Aquáticos」より。アルバムの中でも、ひときわ静謐な空気を湛えた1曲。ルシェが操るモジュラーシンセやヴィンテージ機材によるゆらめく音の満ち引き。ファビアーノの幽玄でフリーフォームな指捌き。鎮静と恍惚が均衡する平穏な領域に、グラデーションのような青のイメージが広がっていきます。Music From Memoryが変わらず素晴らしい作品を送り出し続けていることが嬉しいです。アートワークは専任デザイナーMichael Willisによる青の系譜。
Taken from Aquáticos, a collaboration between Brazilian guitar virtuoso Fabiano do Nascimento and LA-based veteran artist E Ruscha V. This track stands out as one of the album’s most serene moments. The modular synths and vintage gear operated by Ruscha create a swaying ebb and flow of sound, interwoven with Fabiano’s ethereal, free-form fingerwork. A gradient of blue imagery spreads across a peaceful realm where tranquility and ecstasy are poised in perfect balance. It is heartening to see Music From Memory consistently delivering such sublime work. The artwork, by resident designer Michael Willis, continues this aesthetic of blue.
